Developing countries are the worst hit by high levels of conflict and insecurity. Citizens in these countries continue to languish in poverty while the governance systems do little to avert this sad situation. Developing countries’ security and justice systems need more financial, human and technical resources to carry out their mandate.

A comprehensive approach to strengthening the security and justice systems in the world is imperative for economic and social stability.
