Financial & Markets Inclusion
Access to finance for business and humanitarian use and traditional markets for goods and services is a significant challenge in developing and underdeveloped economies. This has left most citizens in these countries predominantly poor, fuelling hunger, conflict and health-related complications.
Financial & Markets Inclusion
Working with our development partners, we design Programmes to aid access to finance and market inclusion, including advising, innovating and promoting ideas on financial inclusion through capacity building, market engagement and fostering partnerships.
Financial Management
Prudent financial management is critical to ensuring the growth of any organisation. However, financial spillage, wastage, financial impropriety, and outright theft are the order of the day in many public and private organisations. The situation is even worse in developing economies where public funds have been lost to the non-delivery of services. Therefore, a robust Financial Management System is critical for effective service delivery.
Sound, transparent and accountable general financial management is a crucial pillar of governance reform and vital to providing good quality public services to citizens and creating and maintaining fair and sustainable economic and social conditions in a country. In Public Service, Public Financial Management [PFM] encompasses the mechanisms through which public resources are collected, allocated, spent and accounted for. PFM processes comprise the whole budget cycle, public procurement, audit practices and revenue collection.
We craft tailor-made capacity-building and strengthening Programmes to improve government and private organisations’ PFM systems, specifically in Budgeting, Procurement, Auditing and Revenue Collection and Allocation. We perform internal and external audit consultancies to ascertain whether PFM systems are running efficiently and effectively and whether funds were utilised for the intended purpose.
